Not only is this the best restaurant at the Charlotte airport it's also one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. The sushi is fresh and delicious, I have been here several times and never been disappointed. To top it all off, you get to enjoy live music as you eat. Not part of the restaurant itself but there is a pianist who sits just a few feet away from the restaurant and every pianist that has sat there has been phenomenal. Kudos to the Charlotte airport for making air travel relaxing and enjoyable. Back to the sushi ! If you are hungry and either traveling to Charlotte or stopping in Charlotte do yourself a favor, walk to the main hall that separates terminals C/D and A/B and treat yourself to an AMAZING meal.

I know everyone has their personal opinion about airport sushi, but this may be the best sushi I’ve ever had at an airport. It may even supersede some other sushi joints in the city. I opted to dine in because there’s most variety. No regrets with this sunset roll !

There are very few words in the English language that offer such a sharp contrast between the ideal and the result: Romantic serenade. Guitarist roommate. Airport sushi. Yeah, usually any sushi outside a prim and proper sushi place is of questionable quality, and even more questionable health code. You ain't telling me those Walmart California rolls haven't been out since last Monday. This, surprisingly, is not the case. Hissho Sushi is a place with great ambience, great music, and even great sushi. Prepared in front of you (if you sit at the bar), it's reasonably fresh and quick to come out. If you're more of a takeout person, you can grab and go their rolls. Delicious, unfussy, and, most importantly, well-priced. Not only they are reasonably-priced for airport standards, they're reasonably-priced even for normal standards! If you like sushi, knowing you'll get a pretty good deal, and a chill environment, this is the place to go.

I ate at the bar and had excellent service and a delicious fresh roll which i thought came at an excellent price especially for an airport! Being near the piano player was a plus!

Surprisingly good. Tuna is delicious. Better than any store sushi, even most sushi restaurants in my town. Wait a few minutes to get closer to room temperature

This is five star airport sushi. I thought everything was fresh and tasted great. I had the sunset roll and would definitely recommend.

Been through this airport many times and never had the sushi. Totally worth if, if you want to foot the bill.

Absolutely exhausted and slightly concussed but when I say this sushi was superb, I mean it. The server was so sweet and was able to put our food order in right as she was leaving and stayed to get it to us. The ingredients tasted fresh (yes, including the rice).
